Dr. W. Chandbabu Singh is a distinguished academician and administrator with around 30 years of experience in higher education and university governance. He served as Professor of Management at Manipur University, from where he completed his M.Com. (1992 Batch Gold Medallist) and PhD (2001). He also holds an FDPM from IIM Ahmedabad (2012) and has attended Management Teachers\u2019 Programmes at IIM Bangalore and IIM Lucknow (Noida Campus). Dr. Singh was the Registrar of Manipur University from June 2019 to March 2025. He is currently the Vice-Chancellor of Dhanamanjuri University, Imphal, and has additionally been entrusted with the charge of Vice-Chancellor, Manipur Technical University.
