Maj. Gen. B. D. Wadhwa (Retd.) is the Pro-Chancellor of IILM and a distinguished leader with an illustrious career spanning the armed forces and higher education. He retired from the Indian Army in November 2006 after 38 years of exemplary service and was awarded the prestigious Ati Vishisht Sewa Medal (AVSM) by the President of India on 26 January 2006 for outstanding service to the nation. A holder of three Master\u2019s degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation Technology, and Business Administration, he brings rich academic and global exposure. Associated with IILM since March 2007, he has served in multiple leadership roles across management, engineering, campus administration, and international relations.
