Prof. (Dr.) Raviraja N. Seetharam is the Vice Chancellor of MIT World Peace University, Pune, with three decades of experience in academia, research, innovation, biotechnology and institutional leadership. He has held several senior positions at Manipal Academy of Higher Education, including Senior Director – Research, Chief Operating Officer and Founding Director – Corporate Relations. He also served as Vice Chancellor of a university in North India. Holding a PhD in Biosciences (Microbiology) and an MBA in Operations Management, his research spans biotherapeutics, regenerative medicine, biotechnology, nanotechnology and cell and gene therapies. His contributions include publications, patents and translational research initiatives. At MIT-WPU, he aims to strengthen academic excellence, research, innovation, industry partnerships, global engagement and institutional effectiveness while advancing meaningful societal impact.
