Prof. (Dr.) Vinayak S. Deshpande is an accomplished academic and administrator, currently serving as Vice-Chancellor of G H Raisoni University, Amravati, since August 2021. With 37 years of teaching experience, including 12 years as a Professor, he has made significant contributions to higher education, administration and research. He has held key leadership positions at RTM Nagpur University, including Pro Vice-Chancellor, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Officiating) and Vice-Chancellor (Acting), and has led the Department of Business Management. Dr. Deshpande has published extensively, undertaken research projects and contributed to the UGC’s STRIDE programme. He has guided 32 research scholars to Ph.D. degrees and served as Editor-in-Chief of ‘ARTHSAMVAD’. His academic contributions also include reviewing research and serving as an executive member of the All India Economic Association.
