Prof. Ravindra D. Kulkarni, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Mumbai, brings 32 years of expertise in Chemical Technology and academic leadership. Previously, he served as Pro-Vice-Chancellor at UoM, Head at ICT Mumbai, and Director at UICT Jalgaon. His achievements include guiding 18 Ph.D. scholars, publishing 85 peer-reviewed papers, securing 3 patents, and leading R&D projects worth over ₹20 crore. Renowned for his contributions, he has received prestigious awards like the UAA-ICT Distinguished Alumnus Award and Prof. J.G. Kane Memorial Award. Under his tenure, UoM earned an A++ NAAC grade and Category-I status. Prof. Kulkarni also contributes to national educational policies, NEP implementation, and industry collaborations, shaping the future of higher education in India.
