Dr. Madhu Chitkara is the President and Co-founder of Chitkara University and one of India’s most distinguished education leaders with over five decades of transformative leadership in academia. Along with Dr. Ashok K. Chitkara, she co-founded the Chitkara Educational Trust in 1998, laying the foundation for globally benchmarked institutions focused on academic excellence, innovation, and industry readiness. As Chairperson of Chitkara International School and through leadership roles with ASSOCHAM, Confederation of Indian Industry, and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry, she has championed innovation, entrepreneurship, and global collaborations. Under her leadership, Chitkara has built a thriving startup and research ecosystem, earning her several prestigious honours, including the Padma Vibhushan Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi Lifetime Achievement Award.
