Maj. Gen. B. D. Wadhwa (Retd.) is the Pro-Chancellor of IILM and a distinguished leader whose career spans nearly four decades in the Indian Army and higher education. Awarded the prestigious Ati Vishisht Seva Medal (AVSM) by the President of India for his exceptional service, he retired from the Army in 2006 after 38 years of distinguished military leadership. Holding three Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation Technology, and Business Administration, he brings extensive expertise in administration, institutional governance, and strategic leadership. Since joining IILM in 2007, he has played a pivotal role in academic administration, international relations, and institutional development. He also serves on the boards of Meerut Public Schools and IILM’s Banyan Tree Schools, contributing significantly to educational excellence and governance.
