Prof. Nupur Prakash is the Vice Chancellor of The NorthCap University, Gurugram, and a distinguished academic leader with nearly 37 years of experience in teaching, research, and higher education administration. A graduate and postgraduate from IIT Roorkee and a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from Panjab University, she previously served as the founding Vice Chancellor of Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women. Under her leadership, The NorthCap University has achieved NAAC ‘A’ Grade, UGC 12(B) status, and prestigious QS I-GAUGE recognitions. An expert in artificial intelligence, mobile computing, and higher education quality assurance, she has guided 15 Ph.D. scholars and published over 100 research papers. She has received numerous national and international honours for her outstanding contributions to education, research, and women’s empowerment.
