Dr. Prateek Sharma is the Vice Chancellor of Delhi Technological University (DTU), Delhi, and a distinguished academician with over 28 years of teaching and research experience. He holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, along with M.E. and B.E. degrees in Civil Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering. His research focuses on environmental systems modelling, air quality, water resources engineering, statistical applications, and environmental risk assessment. Dr. Sharma has authored two books, a monograph, and numerous research papers in leading academic journals. A Fellow of the Wessex Institute, Great Britain, and the Institution of Engineers (India), he is also a member of the National Knowledge Network supporting the National Clean Air Programme. Before joining DTU, he served at TERI School of Advanced Studies and GGS Indraprastha University.
