Dr. Pravin H. Shingare, a retired Maharashtra state government officer, has had a distinguished career spanning academia and administration. A graduate of GMC Miraj and post-graduate from SRTR GMC Ambajogai, he held roles from Lecturer to Director of Medical Education and Research. As Dean of Grant Medical College & JJ Hospital, he managed crises like the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. He was pivotal in introducing Maharashtra’s first CET and expanding MBBS seats statewide. Dr. Shingare has served in numerous academic, regulatory, and advisory capacities, including at MUHS Nashik and Symbiosis International. A recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award, he continues to contribute as a medical advisor and academic leader, embodying excellence in healthcare and education.
