Prof. Anant Chakradeo is the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Art and Design Programs) at MIT Art, Design and Technology University, Pune. With over 34 years of experience, including 6 years in industry and 28 years in education and training, he holds a Ph.D. in Design, M.E. (Production), and B.E. (Mechanical). A visionary educationist and strategist, Prof. Chakradeo has been instrumental in establishing and managing higher education institutes, including the conception of the MIT Institute of Design. His global outlook has led him to develop 15+ international tie-ups and travel to 17 countries. In addition to his role as Pro-Vice Chancellor, he serves as Dean, Faculty of Design and Architecture, and Director of International Relations for the MIT Group.
