Umayal Subramaniam is a fourth-generation educationist and the Co-Founder of Squirrels PlaySchool, dedicated to early childhood education and community development. She also serves as a trustee of Kamala Subramaniam Schools and the Thirumagal Educational Society. Passionate about storytelling and creative learning, she founded Kindergarten Chronicles, an initiative that engages young children through stories, crafts, and music to create joyful learning experiences. A blogger and poet, her poetry collection, Doodle with Words – Sketches of Life, reflects her insights into life and human emotions. Umayal is also an Awareness Ambassador and core team member of Spectrum The Awareness Project, promoting neurodiversity awareness and inclusive support for families through discussions, interviews, and advocacy initiatives.
