Dr. Durlav Sarkar is the Founder and Director of the Gurukul Group of Educational Wing, with campuses at Mangaldai and Bhangabarua in Assam, and Founder & Director of Sigma Academy, Nirjuli, Arunachal Pradesh. An accomplished academician, he holds B.Tech from NIT Patna, M.Tech, MBA, and Ph.D. degrees, and has over 12 years of teaching experience, including IIT-JEE coaching and service as Guest Faculty at NIT Patna. A Corporate Member of the Institute of Engineers, he has also served as Deputy Director-cum-Controller of Examination (In-charge) at VITM. A certified resource person and motivational speaker, Dr. Sarkar has received multiple national honours, including Education Icon of the Year 2025.
