Professor Parimal H. Vyas is a distinguished academic leader and currently serves as the Provost of AURO University, Surat. He earlier led the university as Vice Chancellor from September 2022. Prior to this, he served as Vice Chancellor of Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (MSUB), Vadodara, from December 2014 to February 2022. A Professor of Commerce and Business Management at MSUB from 2004 to 2022, he also held the position of Dual/Joint Professor at the Faculty of Management Studies. Professor Vyas has guided 13 Ph.D. scholars and completed four major UGC-funded research projects. He has published extensively and received Best Research Paper awards 14 times. He has also served on several academic bodies, including the State Higher Education Council, National Board of Accreditation, and Indian Council of Cultural Relations, contributing significantly to higher education governance and quality assurance.
