Dr. Sinha is an accomplished public health expert and academic with extensive experience in immunization, disease surveillance, and environmental health. He completed his MBBS and MD in Community Medicine from Government Medical College, Surat. He served with the World Health Organization’s National Polio Surveillance Project for over a decade, contributing significantly to polio eradication, immunization programs, and vaccine surveillance across multiple Indian states. He later worked with UNDP, leading the successful implementation of the Electronic Vaccine Intelligence Network (eVIN) in Gujarat. Currently an Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Public Health, Gandhinagar, he is actively involved in teaching and research. His work spans occupational health, climate-sensitive interventions, and large-scale global studies on heat mitigation and public health outcomes.
