Dr. Diganta Halder is a distinguished educationist and sociologist with an illustrious career spanning nearly 35 years in teaching and academic administration. He is the former Principal of Assam Rifles Public School, Shillong, and is currently heading Sarala Birla Gyan Jyoti, Guwahati, under the Sarala Birla Group of Schools. Dr. Halder has worked extensively in womenâs studies, and his research findings are widely referenced by universities in India and abroad. He has authored numerous research papers and written on contemporary sociological issues in leading newspapers, magazines, and national and international journals. Presently, he serves as the CBSE District Level Coordinator for Kamrup (Rural) and Secretary of the Sahodaya Group of Schools, Guwahati Complex. He has received multiple Best Principal Awards and the Runners Up BOLT Award from Air India.
