Dr. Mukul Chandra Bora is currently serving as the Vice Chancellor of North Lakhimpur University. Prior to this, he worked as the Director of the Institute of Engineering and Technology at Dibrugarh University, Assam. Established in 2009, the Institute offers four engineering branches: Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering. Dr. Bora has been responsible for overseeing all academic and administrative activities of the Institute. During his tenure, he developed strong professional relationships with key industries such as Oil India Limited, Numaligarh Refinery Limited, ONGC, and Brahmaputra Crackers and Polymers Limited. He possesses strong communication and leadership skills and has a keen interest in research and institutional development. Alongside his administrative role, he continues to actively engage in consultancy, research, and development activities.
