Dr. R. Venkatesh Babu is an accomplished academic leader, researcher, and administrator currently serving as Group Director – Academics and Administration at SRM Group of Institutions, Chennai. With over 28 years of experience in teaching, research, entrepreneurship development, and academic administration, he specializes in Mechanical Engineering, CAD, and IC Engines. He previously served with All India Council for Technical Education and the National Board of Accreditation under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. A prolific researcher with 40+ publications and multiple Ph.D. scholars under his guidance, his interests include AI, ML, Cyber Security, Quantum Computing, CFD, and Smart Materials.
