Dr. Rajeev Shorey is the Director of Indian Institute of Information Technology Surat and a distinguished leader in computer science and engineering. A Fellow of Indian National Academy of Engineering and Institution of Engineering and Technology, and a Distinguished Scientist of Association for Computing Machinery, he has made significant contributions to research and innovation. He previously served as CEO of the University of Queensland–IIT Delhi Academy of Research at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and holds adjunct roles at IIT Delhi and Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar. He is also an Honorary Professor at the University of Queensland. With a Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Science Bangalore, Dr. Shorey has worked with leading organizations like TCS, IBM, and General Motors. He has over 80 publications, 13 US patents, and co-founded premier conferences like COMSNETS and AIMLSystems.
