Dr. Saurin Shah is a seasoned academic leader and Provost (Vice Chancellor) of Silver Oak University, with over 33 years of experience in higher education. He has played a pivotal role in securing NAAC A Grade accreditation and regulatory approvals for online and distance learning, driving the university’s expansion into innovative education models. An expert in institutional leadership, research, and strategic growth, Dr. Shah has led the scaling of academic offerings to over 150 courses, serving 25,000+ students across 18 colleges. His research interests include biomedical image processing, machine learning, and wind nowcasting. Previously, he served as Principal at Silver Oak College of Engineering & Technology and held key academic roles at Dharmsinh Desai University. He holds a Ph.D. from Nirma University and an M.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
