Dr. V. Rajendran is the Vice Chancellor of Academy of Maritime Education and Training and a distinguished academician with over 30 years of experience, including more than two decades in academic administration. He holds a D.Sc. in Biomaterials from Bharathiar University, a Ph.D. in Physics from Annamalai University, and an M.Tech. in Nanotechnology from Anna University. Dr. Rajendran has participated in prestigious global leadership programs including LEAP India and the Fulbright-Nehru Programme in the USA. Recognized among Stanford University’s top 2% scientists worldwide in Material Science since 2019, he is also an NAAC Assessor and recipient of over 25 awards, including the National Science Communication Award 2016.
