Prof. (Dr.) Himanshu Aeran is a renowned academician, administrator, and Oral & Maxillofacial Prosthodontist with over 35 years of experience in dental education, hospital management, and policy advisory. Currently serving as Vice Chancellor of Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University, Dehradun, he holds an MDS from KGMC and postgraduate degrees in Hospital and Business Administration. Dr. Aeran has led key institutions, contributed to national boards like DCI, UGC, and NBE, and is a NABH Assessor. He has over 245 publications, 8 books, and numerous national and international honors. He is known for his impactful community work, including 1200+ dental camps, mucormycosis rehabilitation, and oral health initiatives.
