Prof. (Dr.) K. V. S. Sarma is a distinguished legal academician, administrator, and scholar with over four decades of experience in legal education and public service. He is currently serving as the Vice Chancellor of the National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam, Guwahati, and is also a Professor of Law at NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad. Earlier, he served as Vice Chancellor of Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad, and held multiple tenures as Registrar at NALSAR, contributing significantly to academic innovation, including the launch of the MBA programme. A recipient of several prestigious honours, he has been associated with national bodies such as the Bar Council of India, UPSC, and the Ministry of Consumer Affairs. An advocate since 1983, he is also an accomplished author, arbitrator, and mediator.
