Ruchi Pradhan Datta is the Principal of The Asian School, Dehradun. She holds degrees in English, Education, Science, and Journalism. An alumna of La Martiniere and Isabella Thoburn College, Lucknow, she has served in senior roles at renowned institutions like The Lawrence School, Lovedale; The Bishops’ School, Pune; and RIMC, Dehradun. She is also a qualified journalist, having contributed to leading publications such as The Times of India and The Indian Express. A trained classical dancer and certified soft skills and voice & accent trainer, she is the daughter, wife, and mother of army officers. Mrs. Datta believes in “drawing out, not drilling in” and strives to lead The Asian School to greater excellence.
