Prof. (Dr.) Arun Garg is a distinguished academician and pharmacologist with nearly four decades of experience in pharmacy education, research, and academic administration. He completed his postgraduate studies in Pharmacology from the University of Delhi in 1986 and earned his doctorate from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University in 2006. Throughout his career, he has served in key academic and regulatory roles, including at the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, and K.R. Mangalam University. His research interests include drug utilization, rational drug use, hepatotoxicity, liver regeneration, diabetes, hypertension, and cosmetics. He is the recipient of the prestigious Dr. B. Mukherjee Award from the Indian Pharmacological Society for his outstanding research in hepatotoxicity and liver regeneration.
