Prof. Ram Karan Singh is Dean of Research Development & Industrial Liaison and Professor of Civil & Environmental Engineering at The NorthCap University, Gurugram. With over 28 years of academic, research, and administrative experience in India and abroad, he is a distinguished expert in water resources, environmental engineering, and sustainability. A Postdoctoral Fellow from NIRE, Japan, and a Ph.D. from BITS Pilani, he has authored over 125 research papers and several books, supervised numerous master’s and doctoral scholars, and led internationally funded research projects supported by organizations including UNESCO, AICTE, DST, JSPS, and DAAD. Prof. Singh has received multiple national and international awards for research excellence and has significantly contributed to climate resilience, water management, environmental modelling, and industry-academia collaboration.
