Dr. Prasad D. Khandekar

Dr. Prasad D. Khandekar is a distinguished academician and administrator with over 30 years of experience in higher education leadership, academic governance and research. He holds a PhD in Electronics Engineering, an M.E. in Electronics and a B.E. in Industrial Electronics. He has served as Vice Chancellor of DES Pune University, Dean of Engineering and Technology at MIT-WPU, and Senior Director of Industry Partnerships and Quality Assurance. His achievements include establishing 31 academic programmes and multiple research centres, strengthening global collaborations, and advancing institutional quality and accreditation. With over 39 research publications, eight patents, including five granted internationally, and several textbooks, he has made significant contributions to engineering education and innovation. He is a Fellow of prestigious professional bodies, including IEI India and IEEE USA.
