Inaugural Session: Inaugural Session: Re-imagining Education in 21st Century Workplace: Expanding boundaries of Education, Skill and Employability

It is imperative to reimagine school & higher education in the light of the 21st century workplace by putting an emphasis on extending the frontiers of knowledge, skill, and employability in order to make learners adaptable and in line with industry needs. The skills needed to stay relevant are evolving at a faster rate than ever before as new industries are created, while others that already exist grow or drastically collapse. Educators, administrators, and leaders in school & higher education sector must approach students’ skill competency with a growth mindset that will help them succeed in the global knowledge-based economy and throughout their careers. It is clear that the future generation needs to be educated about developing digital capabilities and the creation, deployment, and ethical usage of technology. At the same time, students in the 21st century must learn how to cultivate and employ creativity, communicate clearly, and engage in critical discourse. To propel discussion on this, the eminent higher education leaders and industry experts emphasized on the topic at ArdorComm Media “New Normal – Education Leadership Summit & Awards 2022” held on 14th & 15th October 2022 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Panel 1 :- National Education Policy 2020 for School Education: Action & Implementation in ‘New-Normal’

The New Education Policy (NEP), which seeks to universalize education from pre-school to secondary level, was approved by the Union cabinet in July 2020. NEP-2020 is a comprehensive framework emphasising education from the primary level to higher education in the nation and will replace the National Policy on Education-1986. NEP-2020 has a target of 100% Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) in school education by 2030 since the goal of any education system is to benefit children so that no child loses any opportunities to learn and succeed because of circumstances of birth or background. The Policy states that one of the main objectives of all education sector development programmes will continue to be closing social gaps in access, participation, and academic outcomes. It is the need of the hour to discuss what are the action & implementation of the NEP 2022 for the school education sector in the New Normal and going ahead. To propel discussion on this, the eminent school education leaders and industry experts emphasized on the topic at ArdorComm Media “New Normal – Education Leadership Summit & Awards 2022” held on 14th & 15th October 2022 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Panel 2 :- Redefining Early Childhood Care and Preschool Education to build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Early childhood is characterised as the time of development between birth and the age of eight, during which significant brain development occurs. As children are greatly influenced by their surroundings and the people in them, this stage continues to be crucial. One of the most important components of the modern education ecosystem is early childhood care. The establishment and operation of pre-schools must receive a great deal of attention because they are the cornerstone of a child’s education and lay the groundwork for their future careers. Young children are unfortunately being denied access to a high-quality education due to a systemic lack of planning and infrastructure. Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) encompasses more than just school readiness. It seeks to create a child’s social and general foundation for lifelong learning and wellbeing in a comprehensive manner. It has the potential to raise up future citizens who are compassionate, competent, and responsible. To propel discussion on this, the eminent school education leaders and industry experts emphasized on the topic at ArdorComm Media “New Normal – Education Leadership Summit & Awards 2022” held on 14th & 15th October 2022 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Panel 3 :- How to Ensure Inclusive & Equitable Education – Access to Lifelong Learning Opportunities for All?

Using inclusive education is one of the best ways for educators to maintain the best learning environments in their classes. The term “inclusive education” is a teaching strategy in which all students, regardless of aptitude, learn together in the same environment. All students should be treated fairly and given equal opportunities in a supportive learning environment. In a welcoming and prejudice-free learning environment, student diversity and individuality should be valued. It is certain that no student will miss any of the content by teaching everyone at once. Despite the fact that teachers will have different teaching styles and pace, being taught by the same teachers helps ensure that all students have equal access to the study material. Despite this, educators should keep adapting their lectures to all students’ needs. Differentiated learning opportunities can meet the educational needs of every student while also enhancing the learning environment and helping students reach their greatest potential. Due to their immersive experiences, innovative information sharing capabilities, and potential to provide virtual experiences that expand access to educational opportunities that would otherwise be restricted by cost or physical distance, AR, VR, MR technologies are a promising addition to the expanding field of education technology. However, these technologies have just recently become accessible and affordable enough for these applications and devices to be used in practical classroom settings. Users can interact with virtual items that appear in their actual surroundings using augmented reality (AR), also known as mixed reality (MR).

To propel discussion on this, the eminent school education leaders and industry experts emphasized on the topic at ArdorComm Media “New Normal – Education Leadership Summit & Awards 2022” held on 14th & 15th October 2022 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat
