Prof. (Dr.) Parma Nand

Prof. (Dr.) Parma Nand is the Pro Vice-Chancellor of Sharda University, Greater Noida, with over 32 years of experience spanning industry, academics, and research. An alumnus of IIT Roorkee (Ph.D.) and IIT Delhi (M.Tech, B.Tech), he is a noted academic leader known for policy-making, governance, and contributions to education reforms such as NEP-2020, Industry 4.0/5.0, and Education 4.0/5.0. He has successfully led NAAC and NBA accreditations and serves as assessor for NAAC, evaluator for NBA, and assessor for NABET. Recognized with multiple awards including ‘Best Dean of the Year 2020,’ Best Teacher by a Union Minister, and accolades from Microsoft and Cognizant, his research interests include AI/ML, Blockchain, Cyber Security, Business/Data Analytics, Algorithms, and Wireless Sensor Networks.
