Dr. V. Rajendran

Dr. V. Rajendran is a distinguished academic leader and researcher with over three decades of experience in higher education, including more than 20 years in academic administration. He currently serves as Vice Chancellor of Academy of Maritime Education and Training. He holds a D.Sc. in Biomaterials from Bharathiar University, a Ph.D. in Physics from Annamalai University, and an M.Tech. in Nanotechnology from Anna University. A participant in prestigious global leadership programmes including LEAP and the Fulbright-Nehru Program, he has been ranked among the world’s top 2% scientists in Material Science by Stanford University since 2019. An NAAC Assessor and recipient of 25+ awards, he is widely recognized for academic excellence, research, and science communication.
