Dr. K. Manivannan

Dr. K. Manivannan is the Controller of Examinations and a distinguished academic administrator with over three decades of experience in engineering education, examinations, and admissions. He holds a B.E. from IRTT, an M.S. from BITS Pilani, and a Ph.D. from Pondicherry University. He served as Professor of Mechanical Engineering at VIT University, Vellore, from 1996 to 2019, where he also held key leadership roles as Assistant Controller of Examinations, Controller of Examinations, and Director of Admissions. He has also served in senior academic and admissions leadership positions at SRM Institute of Science and Technology and VIT-AP University. Dr. Manivannan has filed nine patents, published over 25 Scopus-indexed research papers, and supervised several Ph.D. scholars, reflecting his commitment to academic excellence and innovation.
