Samsung has launched its interactive display the smart learning and collaboration for the betterment of education system can you share a little more information on this gadget? So, we are a worldwide leader in display business solutions, So, it’s not commodity it’s a display with the solution. Interactive is just the extension of our product portfolio. So, it is now coming with the Android version and this has been launched in multiple schools and appreciated in terms of ease of use, how children can benefit in terms of communication, and Live interaction with the class with unique features we have in this panel. This is providing a complete transformation into a different school and fortunate and lucky to add value in the ecosystem. Technologies like the new gadget from Samsung how do you think that upcoming AI technology is enhancing the overall experience of education and learning in the Indian market? When you go back to the Corona Era it was very difficult to communicate with the students at the time this interactive panel adds value to education by educating the students in a particular way. It’s not about one way communication it’s a two-way communication. What students are learning, How they are benefiting, Are they learning in a particular way. In which exam they are not able to qualify, How much they are scoring. So, these all come in picture. We can enhance this and give value to the teacher so they can be focused in a particular area. Is Samsung planning any future product in India? Absolutely, this model was launched in the last August, now we have the complete line up. Sheena Johnstone discussed various possibilities for Nursery Story in the Indian market.

‘The standard of people speaking and the group discussions and everything has been really great” said Sheena Johnstone, Founder & CEO, Nursery Story at the ‘New Normal – Education Leadership Summit & Awards 2024’ on 10th February 2024 at Crowne Plaza Ahmedabad City Centre, Ahmedabad, Gujarat hosted by ArdorComm Media Group. How do you think nursery story will impact the lives of individuals when it comes to teaching their toddlers?  Nursery story is an amazing way for teachers to communicate exactly what’s happening during the day. Things like, what they’re eating, what they’re drinking, and if they are going to the toilet. Also, they can click pictures and share and instantly with parents. So, the parents don’t feel like they’re missing out on anything, and then the child can continue because they know what they have eaten, what to expect, and what are the things they have learned throughout the day with the child. How did this idea come to you—integrating AI and technology for the nursery kids and helping their parents to give more attention and more time to the kids?  So, I have three grandchildren, my youngest, when she was starting nursery, I was shocked by the little information that we got. We didn’t get any information on her, she had a great day, and that was it, no information about the details of the day like what she was doing, what she was playing with, and that’s when the idea came. There had to be a better way of communicating. When you can order a pizza on a tablet, why can’t you have your child’s information when your child is so important to you. Now you have that information during the day and I think for a parent it is vital.  Is Nursery Story planning any future projects or any more software like this?  The wonderful time that we had here, the people that we have met, our partners in India also we have Indian developers and a company here that developed our product, So they have suggested that there was a need in India for this kind of product, and we have been delighted at the uptake, the people that we have spoken to, and the excitement it has created. So India will be doing a lot more business.  Can we expect this to be worldwide or just for India?  I hope so, but India is a very big market, and we have just been delighted to do our best for the all Indian people here and to produce and continue producing a software that they need.  What was the overall takeaway from this event?  It’s just been amazing the standard of people speaking and the group discussions and everything has been really great. The quality of the speaker, the university lecturer, has also been quite amazing.

Dr. D. V. Jadhav, Joint Director, Technical Education, Regional Office, Pune, Govt. of Maharashtra highlighted few initiatives taken in the field of technical education by Government of Maharashtra

“Polytechnic has reached from 50% to 85% in Maharashtra and the number of the figure in engineering education has these two around 1.17 lakh in this academic year” said Dr. D. V. Jadhav, Joint Director, Technical Education, Regional Office, Pune, Govt. of Maharashtra at ArdorComm New Normal- Education Leadership Summit & Awards 2023” held in Pune, Maharashtra on 24th November 2023. Kindly highlight few initiatives under your leadership and by the department in the field of Technical Education. Hon’ble Director Dr. Vinod Mohitkar has initiated many initiatives especially to promote technical education, the opportunities for the students for technical education, the government scheme for peace reimbursement, even the admission procedure so that maximum students can benefit from this one and the outcome of this mission in polytechnic and engineering colleges. Polytechnic has reached from 50% to 85% in Maharashtra and the number of the figure in engineering education admission has these two around 1.17 lakh in this academic year. Apart from that the skilling initiative we are taking that DT has made the MoU with Infosys, they offered the free program on springboard platform for the skill-based learning. Also, through CSR funds Infosys goes through the foundation 176 hours program, offered to the students for skilling and values. Nasscom is also offering a program for skill education to the students of Maharashtra and Technical Education where the students do have not to pay any charges for that they have to learn the online way and we are trying for this so that students’ employability will be enhanced through this. Apart from that the government has many initiatives for fees reimbursement through the Central Government and State Government and all these schemes are available DVT portals the student can directly apply and get the benefits. When it comes to the implementation of the NEP, What initiative you are taking? What message you would like to give to the academicians and educators? Maharashtra has become the first state in the country to implement the New Education Policy (NEP) curriculum in engineering education. We have taken the advantage of AICTE credit framework and issued the guideline in terms of GR and around 59 autonomous college in Maharashtra has started implementing autonomous curriculum from the academic year 2023-24 and all affiliated colleges or universities will be implementing from the next academic year. We have conducted workshops for all the stakeholders, and feedback was taken, accordingly, the guidelines were taken. You witnessed the summit, where the representation was from the government, academicians, educators & the corporate, how does such forums help us to engage better & learn more? See corporate is one of the major stakeholders what are their expectations and what is today’s curriculum if there is a gap that has to be bridged. Corporates can give feedback to the university and autonomous colleges. Apart from that some Institute may have one practice some may not have so this is a platform for sharing their best practices. We expect that policyholders and decision-makers can frame the policy. Such a platform for exchanging thoughts and coming up with a better policy and better implementation and expecting even the revised outcome that if any lack is observed that can be care taken. This is a platform for that so I congratulate the team of ArdorComm for having this initiative bringing all these on one platform for one complete day for exchanging ideas.

Dr. Manjula Pooja Shroff, MD & CEO, Kalorex Group, tells about her AI avatar ‘MAYA’

“My AI version or Avatar is called Maya. Maya itself means illusion. The world is an illusion the sooner we get it-the better we are” said Dr. Manjula Pooja Shroff, MD & CEO, Kalorex Group at ArdorComm New Normal- Education Leadership Summit & Awards 2023” held in Pune, Maharashtra on 24th November 2023. In such busy schedule of yours, How do you take care of your mental and physical will-being? The coach has to clean himself-herself first! The only way you can maintain your own integrity in what you are doing is by following that. So, there is a distinct process of cleaning that I do to myself to maintain that there is no dust in the way. I think, like you clean your teeth I clean my mind everyday. You related the cricket world-cup in the education in today’s event. How do you collect the real-life incidents to motivate the audience at a large scale? I’m an educationist, I think like an educationist. So, I’m always looking for live lesson. What happened in Ahmedabad on that faithful day of the International Cricket World-cup. It showed me a new picture of India, a picture that is more sensible, a picture that is more sensitive. 10 year ago if this had happened our cricket team would have been bashed left right and centre. Would have only criticized, finding fault would have happened and every individual cricketer would have found it very difficult to show the face. The pride that I saw in that state that day is that standing together for team India. We were there in their victory and we were more than present for their loss and I think that is the real growth of humanity. There is a sea change in what we see this time we stood with them emotionally and that’s beautiful. What is this version of Dr. Manjula Pooja Shroff as an AI speaker? How did it came into your mind? My AI version or Avatar is called Maya. Maya itself means illusion. The world is an illusion the sooner we get it-the better we are. So, AI is an illusion in the world and the nomenclature Maya is so beautiful. The reason we did AI was not was not easy. I mean we are into education, not industry. We neither have research ability not the money to do this kind of stuff but it was important that an educational group breaks the barrier to say that research is not only done by industry. So, we started this whole effort to say that we can demonstrate AI and not just talk about it. It started with the initial thought and in 60 days we were able to do it with some internal support and some intern from Gandhinagar that’s it. With this Avatar of Maya, how are you going to take it to the education in order to your pedagogy and curriculum? As part of Kalorex culture one of the very important areas is teacher training or teacher human development my lot of time was personally involved in it. I used to create the course, Go through the scripting, curate it then implementing it. Now, Maya is doing it. My voice is cloned, my face is cloned, I only approve the script and my does all the production. So, my work is reduced to 25% only, that is the power of an AI, which thankfully we have understood. How certain forum helps overall industry to interact and learn from each other? I always maintain that forums like this create collaboration and collaboration is the only way forward. I like your approach to create a unique space, I like your approach for learning the incremental things, I like your approach for making small changes that are impactful and that shows your attention to detail. And when you have attention to detail excellence is a by-product. Personally I like your space because of your attention to the details and your need and ability and understanding to bring about incremental changes. But on overall platform these platforms are very good.

Kumar Chandan Anand, Founder and CEO of ArdorComm Media Group, Reflects on the Media Venture’s Journey and Aspires to Become the Largest Voice of Community Empowerment in India

“We aspire to bring the community stakeholders on a common platform and open the doors for networking and collaboration. We want to emerge as the largest media voice of the community”, said Kumar Chandan Anand, Founder, CEO & Group Editor, ArdorComm Media Group at ‘ArdorComm New Normal- Education Leadership Summit & Awards 2023’ held in Pune, Maharashtra on 24th November 2023. ArdorComm Media Group has recently celebrated its 2nd Anniversary, you are spreading across India, tell us about your journey so far and how you’ve emerged as a growing media group? Our journey has been a challenging yet exhilarating rollercoaster ride. Through leaps and bounds, we’ve celebrated numerous successes as well as a few failures. I have enjoyed the journey of success & learned from failures. With 17-18 years of rich experience in the media industry, I then ventured into opening our own media start-up and named this organization ‘ArdorComm Media’. This was during the second wave of COVID, in a situation of uncertainty & challenges, we overcame hurdles and identified it as the opportune moment to commence our own Media Venture. We were connected with the stakeholders in the tech segment in the communities of healthcare, education, human resources, media, entertainment, art & in government sector. We tried to bring all the community stakeholders on a common platform and opened the doors for networking and collaboration. After having a good experience working with renowned media houses in the country and having exposure to regional dailies (vernaculars) & English newspapers, we thought to enter into the Digital space. The motto of our organization is to empower communities with socio-digital transformation. We want to become the Media voice for these 5 communities. As an overview how do you see this journey as a major achievement? Entrepreneurship will develop only when you have experience working in various companies, where you understand the hierarchy, the roles & responsibilities, and the responsibility of chasing targets & delivering them on time. How are you contributing to making your company happy, and your clients & stakeholders happy, that comes with a lot of experience & expertise. When your journey goes into that space & when you are very focused on what you have to become, then, you spend that time enthusiastically & willingly. I was very closely working with the editorial team, advertisement & sales team. So, I know both sides of the table. Also, readership plays a very crucial & important role and everything in today’s scenario is driven by content. If you publish fresh & new content, readers-listeners-viewers get engaged with you & they also motivate you to ask about your next content, blog, or story. Then you feel good about when they like your efforts & work. How do you see ArdorComm Media thriving in India in the upcoming years? As an entrepreneur, my vision for ArdorComm Media involves going deep into the segments, I want to go regional, exploring more cities, and more states. I aspire to invite stakeholders across various domains to our platform to share their experience & knowledge. The ultimate goal for ArdorComm Media is to emerge as the largest media voice of the community, playing a pivotal role in fostering collaboration, sharing knowledge, and contributing to the overall growth and development of the industry and society. We want to learn with them, we want to grow with them.

Sudhir Kukreja, Co-Founder, Credence International Schools, Shares the Mission and Vision of Kidzonia

“If you break down the name into three pieces it’s a kids, zone, and India so this is what we combined it together” said Sudhir Kukreja, Co Founder, Credence International Schools at ArdorComm New Normal- Education Leadership Summit & Awards 2023” held in Pune, Maharashtra on 24th November 2023. We would like to know more about your organisation how are you expanding and what is your mission of expansion? I think the recent development that has happened in our group is the addition of the Kidzonia international preschools. Immediately after the pandemic, there was a significant need for some high-quality preschools. Because of the course aftermath, Kidzonia has taken a real challenge, I’ll say mandate to set up a chain of company-owned company-operative preschools. Very high-quality premium schools we have launched, about 27 branches in the last 2 years. All these branches are located across Mumbai, and Hyderabad and now we are launching 10 branches in Pune. In another one-two month you will start seeing the presence of Kidzonia in Pune. We already have a very strong presence in Navi Mumbai-Hyderabad where we are operating 12-13 branches each catering to almost 5000+ children. Along with it, we have started Credence International School in Hyderabad and we are now expanding with two more campuses in the coming year. They are already ready and on the verge of being launched and announced everything. So that’s been our journey I think the pandemic has been a blessing in disguise opening up the market for preschools and a lot of demand for the parents for some high-quality stuff. And that is what we identified as the market gap and maybe our group’s well-played store take care of it that is what we are trying to offer. As we know due to NEP now preschools is also coming under a formal structure how is this going to help your growing organisation I think NEP is actually a blessing for us why it is a blessing for us because if you look at the history of India for last 60 years we have never had education in a space or early child education in a space where it had a formal structure where it had a kind of controller or a just like you have a CBSE or NCERT or government of India intervention so this was the first time where nep is actually going to governed the working and functioning of preschools there are going to be guidelines just the way you have for a high school and CBSE affiliation guidelines etc there are going to be guidelines and certain rules to be followed when they are working in schools now in preschools entire thing gets ruled out lets understand their two kind of preschools in the industry people who are doing the best in the industry and the people who are not doing the best and industry people who are taking care of the needs of the children people who are absolutely thoughtful and careful about the what is going what is that child development needs are and what needs to be done if you come to Kidzonia preschool today right from the child safety to his development needs to his psychological emotional development each of these expect is very finally taken care of and this is something which we have working on I wouldn’t say maybe your after any PS coming this it’s a part of our credence International School right from our Inception days in 2012 and today I Think what we have done is we have taken that same standard to a preschool level we probably have a lot to offer to the industry and maybe anybody in the industry wants to come and exchange that knowledge with us we are more than happy to partner. So when the NEP gets rolled out, we will be the best place for people in the industry to kind of show the way around that okay this is what and how it needs to be done. We have done our own research with a lot of industry. Witness people who are a part of our core team, our corporate design team, the curriculum design team, the interior, and everything that’s done there is a lot of thought that has gone into designing and creating and that is the reason the idea of the company-owned company-operated because the moment you start franchising it get because you can’t pass on that same thing to a Thousand partners. That is the reason we are concentrated in Mumbai, Pune, and Hyderabad we will definitely expand to a different city, it takes time to sweat out over time to get what you intend to do. What is the exact meaning of the word Kidzonia? So if you break down the name into three pieces it’s a kids, zone, and India so this is what we combined it together. It’s a kids zone to have their own life, have their own fun, have their own journey of learning and fun. It’s more often an experiential world for a child so it is way away from the theoretical aspect of it. The way you are doing some root learning or making the children write and stuff like that. It’s about giving a child experience while in his early years of development. We have heard of those development theories and then multiply intelligence but if you take a look of the best of the brands in the industry today while we talk about it a lot. When it comes to the floor of the ground how much intelligence are we talking about in this conference? We are talking about multiple Intelligences and that kind of thing how many preschools have a television in every class? How many teachers are trained on how to handle the audiovisuals and make the children learn from the audiovisuals? We have made it a part of it, We have always said that okay, screen time is
