Dr. Debmalya Bhattacharya is an esteemed academician and scientist, currently serving as the Pro Vice Chancellor of MIT University of Meghalaya, part of the MIT Pune Group of Institutions. He holds a Doctorate in Engineering from Queen’s University, Belfast, and has worked as a scientist at renowned institutions like Lancaster University, Brunel University (UK), and Poznan University (Poland). His research expertise includes Antenna Design, Renewable Energy, Wireless Communication, and Biomedical Electronics. Dr. Bhattacharya has published 49 international research papers, presented 17 IEEE conference papers, and guided numerous PhD and Master’s students. Recognized for his contributions, he has received prestigious awards like the Bharat-Ratna Dr. Radhakrishnan Gold Medal Award and the Education Asian Global Excellence Award.
