Dr. Gitika Nagrath

Dr. Gitika Nagrath is Dean of Commerce, Business Management, Economics & Humanities at DAV University, Jalandhar, with 20 years of experience in academics, academic leadership, strategic planning, and curriculum development. She holds a Ph.D. in Management, UGC-NET with JRF, MBA, and BBA. As NEP Convener, she has led curriculum initiatives aligned with NEP 2020 and promoted industry-integrated, skill-oriented programmes through collaborations with organisations including SAP, Maruti Suzuki India, Bajaj Finserv, and Tally. Her expertise includes Outcome-Based Education, curriculum design, teaching-learning methodologies, critical thinking, and industry-academia partnerships. Dr. Nagrath has published 32 research papers and book chapters in Scopus, Web of Science, and UGC Care-listed publications and presented extensively at national and international forums. She has served as a keynote speaker, session chair, and technical programme committee member at international conferences in China and Macau. She is also a life member of NIPM and NHRDN.
