Dr. Piush Verma

Dr. Piush Verma is a dynamic academic leader with over 37 years of experience spanning higher education, research and industry. He has held key leadership positions including Vice-Chancellor, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Campus Director, Registrar, Director-Principal and Professor at institutions such as Rayat-Bahra Group, Guru Kashi University, Lovely Professional University, NITTTR Chandigarh and other reputed organisations. His expertise encompasses academic governance, strategic leadership, accreditation, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, research promotion and industry-academia collaboration. Dr. Verma has contributed to NAAC A++ accreditation processes and regulatory liaison with bodies including UGC, AICTE and PCI, while also driving digitisation of examination processes and student services. He holds a Ph.D. in Engineering and an M.E. in Electrical Engineering from Thapar University, Patiala.
