Dr. Y. J. Bhalerao, also known as Dr. Yogesh Bhalerao, is a Professor and Director with expertise in mechanical engineering, academic leadership and engineering education. As an accomplished engineering educator, he brings extensive research experience, strong subject knowledge and adaptable teaching methodologies to foster academic excellence. He is committed to continuously improving engineering education through innovative teaching practices, research and effective academic administration. His research interests include heat transfer, numerical methods, finite element analysis, computational fluid dynamics, fluid mechanics and strength of materials. He also specialises in engineering drawing, design thinking and engineering education, contributing to the development of practical skills and problem-solving abilities among students.
