Prof. (Dr.) Rashmi Ashtt

Prof. (Dr.) Rashmi Ashtt is an accomplished academician, architect, and urban planner with over 21 years of experience in academia, research, and institutional leadership. She currently serves as Head of Department and Professor at IGDTUW, Delhi, and has earlier led reputed architecture institutions as Director and Principal. Holding a Ph.D. in Urban Infrastructure Planning and pursuing a second Ph.D. in Heritage Governance from SPA Delhi, her expertise spans sustainable urban development, heritage conservation, gender equity, and governance. She has presented at leading forums, including the International Conference on Climate Change Adaptation (Toronto, 2017), and has several SCOPUS-indexed publications. An elected Vice-Chairperson of A.I.I.A. and member of IGBC, IASTE, and ITPI, she is recognized for contributions to green architecture, disaster management, and women’s empowerment.
