Dr. (Mrs.) Pankaj Mittal is a distinguished academician and leader in Indian higher education. With over three decades of experience, she has made significant contributions to policy planning and management. As Secretary General of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), she is the second woman to hold this position in the association’s 97-year history. Dr. Mittal is a Fulbright Scholar with an MSc and PhD in Agricultural Statistics from IARI, New Delhi. She has transformed Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya, a rural women’s university, into an internationally recognized institution. Dr. Mittal has received prestigious awards, including the Fulbright Nehru Scholarship grant and the President of India Award for Digital Initiatives in Higher Education. She has represented India internationally, published extensively, and served on various committees and professional bodies. Her work showcases her commitment to advancing higher education, empowering women, and driving institutional growth.

Dr. Partha Sharathi Mallick, a PhD from Jadavpur University (INDIA), currently working as the Pro Vice Chancellor of Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, Tamil Nadu India. He is a Sr. Professor in School of Electrical Engineering and a former Dean of Electrical Engineering. He served the same institution as the Head of Ranking, Accreditation and as the Nodal Officer of Institution of Eminence (IoE). He worked as the Technical Head in IAAB Electronics, a Swedish Agri-Electronics Industry in Bangladesh from 1992 to 1996. Dr. Mallick received the prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru Fellowship for doctoral studies in 1998. Dr Mallick led various research teams and developed “Online Lab in Microelectronics”, “Monte Carlo Simulator of II-VI Compound Semiconductors”, “Nanostructured MIM Capacitor”, “Low cost Electric Fencers”. He is a technical innovator of DSIR, Govt. of India, 2007. Dr Mallick published 4 books/book chapters, 132 research papers and guided 13 PhD thesis. He received VIT Chancellor’s Research Award in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021. Dr Mallick jointly worked and published research papers with researchers of top institutions such as Max-Born Institute Germany, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, University of Cynvestav, Mexico. His research interest includes CNT Applications, compound semiconductors, reliability of electronic devices and circuits.

Temjen Imna Along, born on 25 November 1980, is a prominent Indian politician hailing from Nagaland. He currently serves as the State President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Nagaland, a position he has held since 15 January 2020. Along is widely recognized for his dynamic presence and active engagement on social media platforms, where he showcases his unique sense of humor. Along has been an elected Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) in the Nagaland Legislative Assembly, representing the Alongtaki constituency, since 2018. In addition to his legislative role, he holds the portfolio of Minister of Higher and Technical Education in the Fourth Neiphiu Rio ministry, a position he has held since 2018. Through this role, he has been instrumental in shaping the educational landscape of Nagaland.
