Dr. Kunal Jawahar Thakkar

Dr. Kunal Jawahar Thakkar is Chief Operating Officer at BAPS Pramukh Swami Hospital, Surat, Gujarat since 2013. With a progressive career spanning more than 12 years he has led teams in the field of medical administration, quality, project management and hospital operations. Graduated as a medical doctor from B.J.Medical College, Ahmedabad, he pursued post-graduation in Hospital & Healthcare Management from IIHMR, Jaipur and has Executive Post Graduation in Financial Management from IMT, Ghaziabad. He is certified in Healthcare Risk Management by CAHO and ASQua and is also a Qimpro certified Qualitist. He is NABH Assessor for Hospitals.
His passion is to improve the quality of healthcare delivery and also work towards developing healthcare professionals for the future. He believes that with medical knowledge and managerial expertise, he can contribute his bit towards a better healthcare for the country.
