The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has officially announced the results of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2025 today at 10:00 AM. Candidates who appeared for the prestigious examination can now check their scores on the official website — jeeadv.ac.in.
In addition to the results, the final answer keys have also been published and are available for download on the same portal.
The JEE Advanced 2025 was conducted on May 18, with Paper 1 and Paper 2 held in two shifts. As per candidate and expert feedback, Mathematics was the most challenging section this year, followed by Physics and Chemistry.
To access the result, candidates need to enter their application number and date of birth on the login page.
How Marks Are Calculated:
The aggregate marks in JEE Advanced are computed as the sum of the scores obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Only those who meet both subject-wise and aggregate cut-offs are included in the Common Rank List (CRL) and respective category-wise rank lists.

Highlights from Last Year:
In 2024, over 180,000 candidates appeared for the examination. Of these, 48,248 candidates qualified. Ved Lahoti and Aditya from the IIT Delhi zone secured the top two ranks, with scores of 355 and 346, respectively. Dwija Dharmeshkumar Patel from the IIT Bombay zone was the top female candidate, securing an All India Rank (AIR) of 7 with a score of 332.
What’s Next?
With results now out, qualified candidates will proceed towards the JoSAA counselling process, which facilitates admissions into the IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other CFTIs. Detailed counselling and seat allocation schedules will be announced soon on the JoSAA website.
