Annu Arora

Annu Arora is the Principal of S.L.Suri DAV Public School, Janak Puri, Delhi. She’s an effective communicator and team leader with a career spanning over 24 years of consistent success as an educator at both middle and high school levels. She has a rich experience in educational leadership, administration, supervision, classroom teaching, and student counselling, as the Head of Institution for the last 8 years. Ms. Arora has an excellent track-record in assuring student success through technology-based strategies and innovative teaching environments. She has been managing a team of 80+ staff members in cohesion with a large parent body & administrative staff to operationalize the School’s Development Plan, overseeing fiscal management, staff recruitment, development and evaluation, organization & team building. She is responsible for the academic, physical, mental, and emotional growth of over 1000 young students. She has introduced DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) to inculcate reading habits in students and teachers. Ms. Arora has received various awards and accolades some of which includes, ‘Certificate of Appreciation’ awarded by Chief Minister of Delhi for contribution to Environment protection & Green Campaign in and around school community. Awarded ‘Lifetime Achievement Award – 2018’ by Teacher Education and Research Summit for a Cleaner World. Awarded the ‘Outstanding Principal Award 2022’ by ADSRS Education & Research, for recognition of valuable contribution to academics and student development.
