Dr. Pramiti Roy

Dr. Pramiti Roy is an esteemed academician currently serving as the Director of the School of Humanities & Social Sciences at Swami Vivekananda University, West Bengal. She earned her Ph.D. from Burdwan University in 2023, following her graduation with honors in English from Asutosh College, University of Calcutta in 2010. Dr. Roy achieved first-class second position in her Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Calcutta in 2012 and was honored by the Public Relations Society of India in 2013. With a rich professional background, including roles at the Times of India Kolkata and as a lecturer at Jogesh Chandra Chowdhury College and Assistant Professor at Amity University Kolkata, she brings a wealth of experience to her current position. Dr. Roy is recognized for her extensive publications and serves as an honorary editorial member for prestigious journals. Additionally, she contributes to academia through her involvement in syllabus committees and as an external examiner for various state universities.
