Dr. S.U. Prabha

Dr. S. U. Prabha is the Principal of Dr. N.G.P. Institute of Technology, Coimbatore. She earned her Ph.D. from Multimedia University, Malaysia in 2010, with research interests spanning power systems, optimization, stability, and renewable energy. With nearly 30 years of teaching experience and two decades of research, including a decade internationally, she has published prolifically in international journals and conferences, securing significant funding and holding multiple patents and copyrights. Dr. Prabha is a recognized research supervisor at Anna University, Chennai, having supervised 10 Ph.D. candidates and currently guiding 7. She is an esteemed keynote speaker, reviewer, and senior member of IEEE, actively engaged in organizing educational events and workshops. Notably, she has received international recognition as a Distinguished Woman in Engineering, along with awards for teaching excellence and service to professional societies like ISTE. Her expertise extends to accreditation processes, where she supports institutions nationally in achieving accreditation standards.
