Dr. Ramana Rao is a Director at Siva Sivani Institute of Management, Secunderabad. He is a Post Graduate in Management and stood 8th in Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh and subsequently completed M.Phil from Alagappa University, Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu. Dr. Rao obtained his Ph.D from Centre for Economic and Social Studies (CESS)in the area of Financial derivatives. He worked in various colleges and institutes over a periods of 25years both India and abroad.
In the year 2007, he moved to Hyderabad and started working for Siva Sivani Institute of management till date. During 2008-11 for a period of three years he moved to oman on lien to work as a faculty member in Business studies department at Shinas College of Technology, Oman and rose the level of Head of the Department. After working in a foreign land he joined back in SSIM as a professor and Head of the Department- Finance.
His areas of interest include Corporate Finance, Capital Markets, Investment Management, International Finance and Financial Derivatives.
