Dr. Sitangshu Khatua

Dr. Sitangshu Khatua, currently serving as the Dean of Xavier Business School at St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata, is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience spanning academia, research, and industry. Specializing in Finance and Accounts, he has conducted Management Development Programs (MDPs) for corporate entities and has been actively involved in finance research. Dr. Khatua holds a FPM/PhD in Finance from XLRI, along with a PGDM in Finance, CFA-level I, ME from BESU, and BE from NIT-DGP. He is the author of multiple books, including ‘Project Management and Appraisal’ published by Oxford University Press and ‘IRR – A BLUNDER – STILL IT IS POPULAR’ by Lambert Academic Publishing, Germany. Recognized for his expertise, Dr. Khatua has received prestigious awards such as the Most Admired Professor in Finance 2023 by BFSI Mumbai and the Best Professor Award in Finance 2019 from AMP, Hyderabad. He is also a Finance Trainer at FEW 2020 of AIWMI and actively contributes as a reviewer and editorial member for various journals.
