Prof. Ambrish S. Vidhyarthi is the Vice Chancellor of Bikaner Technical University, Bikaner. With over two decades of experience, he has been actively involved in planning and executing research and teaching programs in various domains.
Notably, Prof. Vidyarthi holds the distinction of being the youngest Professor to establish world-class research and teaching infrastructure at Birla Institute of Technology Mesra, Ranchi, during his tenure from 2003 to 2014.
His research contributions span industrial and environmental biotechnology, food biotechnology, cancer biology, computational biology, and bioinformatics. He has successfully completed more than 10 sponsored R&D projects, including network projects. Prof. Vidyarthi has mentored 25 Ph.D. students, supervised 67 postgraduate dissertations, and authored over 275 research publications in peer-reviewed journals and symposia.
Recognized for his contributions, Prof. Vidyarthi has been elected as a Fellow of The Institutions of Engineers (India) and the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India). He is also a member of esteemed organizations such as the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Biotech Research Society of India (BRSI), and Association of Microbiologists of India.
