Prof. (Dr.) Manpreet Singh Manna, with over 26 years of experience in academia and research, serves as the Vice Chancellor at Chandigarh University, a prestigious institution in India. Holding a Ph.D. in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, he also holds the position of Associate Professor there. Prof. Manna’s expertise lies in quality assurance, project management, and digital education, which he utilizes to propel Chandigarh University’s academic and research initiatives forward. Previously, he served as the Director of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and led the SWAYAM MOOCs project, pioneering the development of the largest MOOC platform globally. Notably, he initiated the Smart India Hackathon, fostering a culture of innovation among students. Recognized with multiple awards for his contributions to education, Prof. Manna has authored numerous research papers, patents, and book chapters, focusing on electrical engineering, IoT, and blockchain technologies, aiming to inspire and empower the next generation of learners and leaders.
