Prof. (Dr.) Saranjit Singh

Prof. (Dr.) Saranjit Singh, the Vice Chancellor of KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, epitomizes a vibrant and dedicated educator committed to inspiring academic and personal excellence among students. With over 15 years of experience in industry engagements, training, placements, and career development within the academic realm, he is deeply devoted to nurturing students’ skills and conscience. Prof. Singh holds a Doctoral and Master’s degree in Production Engineering (Manufacturing Engineering) and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering. He has been associated with KIIT University for 15 years, contributing significantly to academics, research, and administration. Prof. Singh’s research interests encompass material processing technologies, metal forming, competitive manufacturing strategies, and quality engineering. He has guided numerous doctoral and master’s scholars, authored three books, and published over 100 research articles. As a Fellow and Life Member of esteemed engineering societies, his leadership extends to various academic and professional domains, culminating in his current role as Vice Chancellor.
