Prof. H. Sudarsana Rao

Dr. H. Sudarsana Rao is a renowned Professor of Civil Engineering at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Anantapur, with over 37 years of teaching and research experience. He holds a B.Tech and M.Tech in Civil and Structural Engineering from JNTU, Anantapur, both earned with distinction, and completed his Ph.D. in Structural Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, in 1996. Throughout his career, Dr. Rao has contributed significantly to civil engineering education, holding key academic and administrative roles, including Deputy Warden, Head of the Department, and Chief Engineer. His leadership extends to his current role as Vice Chancellor of JNTU, where he continues to guide the university towards academic excellence.
