Global law firm White & Case LLP has successfully advised Toyota Tsusho Corporation, a prominent Japanese trading firm, on its acquisition of North America-based Radius Recycling, Inc. The deal, valued at US$1.34 billion, marks a significant move toward enhancing circular economy practices and accelerating global decarbonization efforts. The acquisition strengthens Toyota Tsusho’s focus on sustainable business strategies by leveraging Radius Recycling’s operational strengths and infrastructure.
